A world full of surprises
Ah, nothing like getting home after some movie and find out the kitchen window smashed, with glass pieces around the floor, everywhere.

No, nobody got inside the apartment (I live on the 6th floor, remember?). It was just the big wind we got this afternoon here in Porto Alegre. It must have hit the window at it full force, forcing it to close; when the window hit the window frame, the energy produced was greater than the glass frame could support, forcing it to eject itself from the window; the glass, now without one of its support and still with energy to move ahead (full of inertia, I should've said), had to bend, something that glass isn't good doing, so it broke in several small pieces. It probably was an amazing event for physics students.

On a related note, there must be just a few things harder than trying to close a window without glass using bubble plastic and crepe tape on a windy day.
